Discussion In the Midst
Of a fantastic lsd trip listening to Inferno. So many layers, so many details. All Reason Departs coming off Deep Time, I mean it doesn’t get better than that. Not as kaleidoscopic as Geogaddi, but the energy is there. Listening over some nice speakers with a group of people tripping, they are all blown away too. Taking them out of their bass-head comfort zone with a mind fuck for the ages. One of em just bought the vinyl mid listen lol. Godspeed boys and girls hope everyone is having a good day.

I have some incredible acid memories listening to their music.. their music is so masterfully crafted and perfected, yet flows so organically
I’ll never forget March of 2008, my 2nd LSD trip, 2 potent blotter tabs, laying down on my bed at night after a long day of hilarity/terror/wonder (stories I’ve been telling for 18 years now), and deciding to listen to The Campfire Headphase beginning to end. Already loved the album dearly, but that particular listen blew my fucking mind
Constants are Changing in particular literally changed my life, by allowing me to see how truly beautiful some melodies and effects can be, and what they can do to someone emotionally when combined together in a certain way. Such a simple chord progression in a Major key, evoking such a strong reaction from me. It was the most beautiful thing I’ve heard in my entire life, and it was less than 2 minutes long
I’ve always been a musician, and have always had a very strong bond with music, but I’ve never seen what it is truly capable of until that night, at 17 years old

Nice I had my first shroom trip in years last Monday, had to give Inferno a spin. 6.5 grams.
I was doing ketamine a bit a couple years ago for depression and anxiety (it did help!) and I’d always put on Societas X or the Half Asleep mix. Both give me emotional flashbacks now when I listen.

They were McKennaii, I realise that strain may be a marketing ploy of kinds but meant be very potent. I grew the same ones several times but sorry guys it wasn’t my first trip just first in many years. My first trip was when they were legal here (!) and you could buy em fresh in the shops when I was 15 lol only about 1.5g but it was life changing

Well it would have been about that dry the law was if you dried them, or even cut them up/made tea, they turned into class A 🙄 😂

Oh no it want my first lol just my first in maybe a decade! I’ve taken 7 before that’s the highest dose I can handle but usually take 4/5. I was anxious going in but I was taking them specifically for my anxiety so I was hoping for a breakthrough. I think a good trip in nature is needed as you need that awe inspiring mystical experience for the healing I think and it’s hard to achieve in a room if you’ve done a lot of psychedelics as I have (that’s not counting the neurogenesis, neuroplasticity and new connections that form though regardless) but I tried microdosing and it wasn’t worth it, I have intestinal issues and the shrooms give me the same issues whether it’s one gram or six (so might as well be six lol) 😂

That must be exciting. I can't see myself listening to something as dark as BoC on a trip, though. I don't know how people do it. I need something more acoustic and safe sounding. Or, if it's electronic, smooth, warm synths á la Zero 7.
