Healing was the worst experience of my life, 10/10 would do again

Hii, I’m getting my ears pointed in October, I’m going to Poland to see Samppa. But I was curious if anyone with POTS has gotten their ears pointed, or any similar body modifications, and how the healing process was for you/how it may differ from the normal healing process. Any info helps! Tysm

I’m looking for someone who does permanent fangs in the (vaguely) nyc metro area. I’ve been having trouble finding someone who does permanent fangs that is also in the dentist/orthodontist/dental industry and in/near New York. The only person I’ve been able to find does lovely work but they aren’t in the dental industry and that’s not something im comfortable with.

Preferably I’m looking for someone who’s done permanent fangs before. I’m open to both veneers and composite bonding. But being a professional in the dental industry is a must for me.

I appreciate any suggestions even if they’re a little further out. I understand this is a big ask. Thank you.

I’ve wanted a tongue split for half a decade but I’m worried that I might lose too much blood and pass out because that’s exactly what happened when I went and tried to donate plasma a couple years back. Has anyone with this issue got their tongue split and if so did you pass out?

How many people who’ve had their tongue split have had to have it eesplit from adhesion?

Hi!!! I’ve fallen in love with suspension this year and recently have been thinking about doing my first one! I was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips about how to prepare for your first one and what to expect? I’m in the NYC/CT area and I’ve been looking into places that do suspensions (White Flag, Anchors Aweigh Suspension, Skindicate Suspensions) but I’m curious if there’s any particular place you guys would recommend? I appreciate any guidance you may have to offer🖤

A question for anyone who has gotten both: how comparable was the pain and recovery to each other? Was one significantly worse or were they both manageable?

I have my top surgery in 2 weeks, which will take a while to recover. After it does, I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a tongue split, a mod I’ve wanted for several years now; the main reason being the timing would likely work out, as I have a few months of unemployment right now before my working season starts in December or January. Don’t know the next time when I’ll have such a large amount of time off again.

So would it be a bad idea to do them consecutively? Or should I wait a year or longer for the tongue split?

Does anyone know where I can get my nostrils punched in California, preferably in or around the Bay Area? I used to have my nostrils stretched to 2g, but I wasn't a fan of the excess cartilage. I'd rather have it removed. Thanks in advance!

hihi, i was wondering if someone would be able to give me some advice. I want to get my tongue split at some point next year, preferably early summer time. I am in Ireland and know I will need to travel abroad for the procedure. I'm mainly wondering what artists people would reccomend. I'm also wondering what to expect in terms of the stitches on the procedure. I have read some posts that say they had dissolving stitches and ive read other posts of people saying that they removed the stitches themselves. I personally don't trust myself to remove my own stitches. Do the body mod artist remove the stitches themselves after the 5-7 days? Also I saw some people talk about tongue stretching, what is that and how does someone do it. Sorry if this is a bit long, I don't really know a whole lot, thanks x

Just got my septum to 7mm (1g), the jewelry is comically large but it provides the much needed half size to 0g. I’ve tried stretching from 2g to 0g, but it was horrendes. I managed to get the 0g pincher through, but it slipped right out. I couldn’t get it to stay in place… so I bought a 1g cbr and stretched after a hot shower with oil and it went slowly but surly in. I think my goal size is 00g but I’m not sure, what do you guys think?

I'm currently stretching it (2mm), but i have hypertrophic scarring in the back of my ear and it's looking pretty gnarly. I'm thinking to just stop stretching and get a bio-punch to go up a couple gauges and get rid of the scars in one go? thoughts?🧐
