Advice Charm removal

Hi guys! I recently bought this skull from Goodwill a couple days ago, and as you can see, it is COVERED in junk. I figured i’d buy it, take the charms off, clean it up, and keep it for display. but… i am finding removing these charms to be extremely difficult 😭 i don’t want to damage the skull more than it already is, does anyone know the best way to remove these charms/glue?

Honestly it looks mostly like hot glue. Maybe try using a hair dryer on the warm setting, and see if you can peel it off from there.

I second hot glue.

Conversely- put it in the freezer to make the glue contract and become brittle and easier to pull off.
