Got a nice little haul collected over a bit of time.
Curious if anyone’s read or vibed with any of these!

As always second hand sales mostly except Lonsome Dove & He Who Fights With Monsters I got signed at comic con.

Happy hauls y’all’s!

Went into the next town over this morning, visiting all the charity shops. All these were between 25p to £1 each! Chuffed!

Exit Strategy means I now own every Jack Reacher book. Looking forward to seeing them all displayed on my shelf, and continuing to read through them!

Notes on An Execution and Shutter Island have been on my TBR for a while,

The Eddie Flynn books I’ve been meaning to check out.

Really happy with what I got!

Went a little nuts during a shopping spree. 😅 I almost exclusively buy secondhand, or else I'd be in a lot of debt haha

Today's bookhaul, this is about half of the Sax Rohmer collection I picked up today. They are mostly Fu Manchu novels from the 1960s except for "The Brood of the Witch Queen" and "Tales of Chinatown "

Went a little wild this weekend book hunting. Best score was the Anne Rice Memnoch the Devil 1st special edition signed and numbered.

I’ve read The Rim of Morning, Butcher’s Crossing, My Death, and Play It As It Lays already. The John Williams and the Joan Didion were big standouts for me this month.

Found the first mass-market US trade paperback edition of Murakami’s A Wild Sheep Chase which is pretty cool.

Also excited about the McCarthy finds. I’ve read No Country, The Road, and All the Pretty Horses by him. I really can’t stand the 2000s Picador editions that I keep seeing so I was pleased to find these older Vintage ones.

Please rec me some stuff if you have similar taste!

Not so much a haul but a interesting find

Found this "uncorrected book proof" copy of The Tygrine Cat, just thought it might be interesting to post. Can't find it online so I guess it's pretty rare? Not worth much apparently though. Cool nonetheless! I'll have to buy the official copy to see if there's any differences, anyone else had one of these?

£4 Find

Came across an old book shop and saw a table outside with various books for £4 or less. As I live in England I don't see any NYRB editions of books ever so I was really happy to find this by chance. For so cheap in good condition I was really happy to find it.

It’s still stupidly hot outside so an afternoon of bookstores and antiquing was just what we needed. I love T. Kingfisher and will probably abandon the 3 books I have going right now to start this one. My daughter was excited to choose this book for herself and I love her love of books.

Combination of used and butt-smackin' new books. Really excited about finally getting my hands on The Course of the Heart. I've had it listed in my TBR since 2013.

I've been broke this past few months so as soon as I could afford it I went and bought myself a few books. I might have gone overboard 😅
