Lenders must follow our requirements too. If someone messages you from a brand-new account or an account that does not meet our requirements: → Report as spam → Block → Ignore. No exceptions. No “but they seemed nice.” That’s how scams work.
Legitimate lenders do not need burner accounts. If someone contacts you from a throwaway account with a suspiciously convenient excuse: → Report as spam → Block → Ignore.
Anyone using a burner account to contact borrowers is a scammer. We promise, you are not missing out on some secret VIP lender opportunity. → Report as spam → Block → Ignore.
If someone threatens to “report you to the lender message boards” (or whatever imaginary villain headquarters they’re pretending exists), feel free to tell them to eat shit. Then: → Report as spam → Block → Ignore.
Protect yourself. Read our Rules, FAQs, and Safety Guidelines so you know exactly what to look out for.
Stay smart, stay safe, and stop giving sketchy accounts the benefit of the doubt.

I got accepted into a red seal program last-minute. I was able to negotiate paying my tuition over time, but the training school needs $200 from me to cover the application fee by the end of the week to show I'm committed to the program. This is after I had to cover bills and groceries, and only have enough to sustain myself until I get my next disability check.
Anyone who can send me the 200 dollars, I would be most grateful to you. And I've used this sub a couple of times in the past, and have been able to pay back on time, so you can trust you'll get your money back the day of.
