Where to Purchase Virgin Mary of Medjugorie
Where to get, Our Lady of Medjugorje (Croatian: Međugorska Gospa)?
Hello. I am currently traveling from Sarajevo to Foca, and then to Dubrovnik. I am looking for a small Virgin of Medjugorie that I can purchase for my grandfather as this Virgin saved his life a couple of years ago when he was ill visiting this beautiful country. I can take a small detour of an hour from my route but going to the town of Medjugorie is not possible. Any help that you guys can provide would be very appreciated. Thank you!
Zdravo. Hvala vam!

Turizam Need advice on how to get to the airport at night
Hi, I will stay in Sarajevo for a few days in October. My return flight is scheduled very early in the morning, meaning I would have to move around 10km from my hotel to the airport at around 3 in the night on a Sunday.
I would appreciate advice on how I would best go about this. Are taxis operating at these hours on a weekend?
Car rental Amex options
Hi
I'm going to Bosnia for a few days and I want to rent a car to drive from Sarajevo airport to Mostar. I booked one through Europcar but in their confirmation email, they mentioned they don't accept American Express which is the only credit card I have so I cancelled that booking. Just wonder if all rental companies at Sarajevo airport are like this? I want to use Sixt or Alamo, anyone have any experience with using AMEX with these companies?
Thanks

So apparently Serbs extremists are planning to do a rally on September 2th in Srebrenica in honor of Ratko Mladic.
I really hope they are getting arrested or a good ass whooping.

Pitanja Iskustva sa curama iz centralne Azije?
Raja,

Video / Skandalozne scene u Zvorniku: Nakon veličanja Mladića, uzvikivali i "Nož, žica, Srebrenica"
Demografija Imamo priliku da uradimo najsmješniju stvar.
Eto, umre Ratko.

Seeking help for travel advice from Visegrad to Sarajevo
It's been my dream to visit Visegrad after reading Ivo Andric. Especially the bridge. Finally we have plans set and I'm going to Visegrad from Sarajevo by bus thats called Aroma in the morning. But the bus to sarajevo is leaving at around 1 noontime. I'm afraid if I've enough time to spend and explore Visegrad (a dream dream!). Kindly help. Questions I have:
Is there hours in Visegrad enough? (I'm afraid, too)
Is there a taxi option from Visegrad to Sarajevo that's not very costly and trustable?
Any other easy routes or bus routes near to visegrad??
Or there are some tourist operators that cover visegrad, to and from, to the city, without worrying about the bus. They are costly and may not suite our pace? But still do you suggest a great one?
Pls help! Thank you!

Sarajevo derby tickets
Hello, me and my friends (6 of us in total) are coming to Sarajevo on the 1st and staying till the 10th and we would love to go to the derby, but from what I've heard you need to be a club member in order to get tickets. Can anyone help me out with sourcing 6 tickets or help me out on how to pucharse a club membership (if its even a thing for foreginers)?
We are a group of experienced groundhoppers and we dont want to miss out on such a big game while we're here. For some of us its our 3rd time in Bosnia but we haven't been to a game in Sarajevo yet.
Thank you so much and greetings from Poland!

Ratko Mladić, Bosnian-Serb general dubbed the ‘Butcher of Bosnia,’ dies aged 84
Ratko Mladić, the Bosnian-Serb general who orchestrated the Srebrenica massacre and the siege of Sarajevo during the Balkan wars, has died aged 84.
Known as the “Butcher of Bosnia,” Mladić was convicted in 2017 by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) for masterminding a campaign of ethnic cleansing against Bosnia’s non-Serb population in the early 1990s.

Lost item in Sarajevo! Need help bringing it back to USA
This is a long-shot but figured I'd try.
Last week I was in Bosnia and lost an item that is important to me. I was able to get in touch with place in Sarajevo where I left it at and they would be willing to help get it back to me. International shipping is obviously very expensive and all the courier options I'm seeing are well over $100.
If there is anybody traveling from Bosnia to the USA in the next few weeks and would be willing to pick the item up, pack it with them, then ship it domestically, please DM me! I'm willing to pay for the domestic shipping and your time!

Travel to Bosnia in September
Hi everyone,
I’m going to Bosnia from 09 to 16 september this year.
We arrive at Sarajevo and we would like to visit Sarajevo - Mostar and Neum. Is it a good plan, is there still a good weather to swim? What’s the best amount of days we should spend in each city and should we include or exclude anything? We usually don’t take a rent car, cause I’m scared of driving in the balkans, is the public transport good enough? Can I get to those cities by train?
What’s some typical food I should try (not cevapci or burek, I already had enough in other countries)
Best Regards
