So as the title suggests, i had a Holt / Boyle moment. For anyone who follows video games / Star Wars, Star Wars zero company released last Thursday and it has been an obsession with for everyone around me. While i was at work, closer to the end of the day, one of my co-workers stopped me while i was walking by his desk. He casually asks me in a hushed tone “hey, what can i do to go home? I really wanna play the new Star Wars game”. I just shook my head and said “i don’t know, maybe shit your pants or something.” Then i walk back to my office.

Not even 10 minutes later, one of the mangers emailed us all to tell us he had gone home for the day. So, after reading that email i immediately got up and ran to the woman who sits next to him (the three of us have some good banter and she would know why it is he really left). I go and say “oh no, i saw ___ left for the day. Is everything alright?” And she proceeds to tell me that his wife was feeling ill and he needed to go home and take care of her. I INSTANTLY knew that was some bs and knew what it was i was gonna do when i saw him next.

Come yesterday morning when he’s back in and sitting at his desk. I go up to him and say “so ___ how’s your wife?” And you all know DAMN WELL WHAT I DID. I SAID HOW IS YOUR pump pump wife pump pump and he didn’t get it so i went through every iteration that Holt and Boyle did. He didn’t get the reference so i showed him the clip and he immediately started laughing out loud cause he knew he was caught.

would they vibe together about Rihanna and Beyoncé or would she roast him alive and if so how would cam’s big guns aka gloria and phill help or the whole family?

im not a gina fan fan but is there any character that can withstand her in sitcom verse lol

This show is by far my all time favourite show. The humour is non stop. Always original. Love how they get serious when needed. Just EVERYTHING about it warms my heart and cheers me up when I’m feeling down.
Only one single thing I don’t like is Hitchcock. I find him unnecessarily creepy and vile imo.
Apart from that, I love everything and everyone. The writers 📑 are brilliant.

This, so far, is the worse episode. I couldn’t stand the character. It just seemed a pointless storyline. IMO

I eat 2 yogurts a day. Any more than that seems like it’s too much yogurt. Sure they’ve got a good amount of protein that Terry would seek out, but is the man just housing tiny yogurts all day?

I certainly hope they’re Greek and not full sugar. It’s also a lot of dairy.

I've seen a lot of people say they don't like the final season of B99... idk, man 😭

My most emotional episode is definitely PB&J from Season 8. Omg... it was so wholesome. 🥹

And I actually love the final season. Maybe it wasn't what everyone expected, but given the circumstances during and after COVID, I feel like they did a pretty good job. I just feel like it was a little rushed.....which is something I feel happened with so many shows. So, I'm not gonna put them on gunpoint for that. 😭

Maybe the AOT thing happened with this too... people who had been waiting for Season 8, only to find out that it was the last one and that it was so abrupt, may have been shocked by it.

But since I binge-watched it, I actually loved it. I was just really sad that it ended... omg 😭

As we all know, pilots/first seasons can be much different than how the rest of the show goes, and that goes for Brooklyn 99.

There is a character introduced only once in the pilot, and then never mentioned again. That character is “Daniels”, who is the female detective talking to Hitchcock and Scully. After the pilot, she never returns or is mentioned again.

Let’s play a hypothetical: in universe, what do you think happened to her?

My utterly insane and nonsensical headcannon: Daniels never realized she actually officially retired several months beforehand, but kept coming in because the old captain never told her that she was retired. She also kept coming in to be close to her good friends, Hitchcock and Scully, and also nap in the nap room.
