A few weeks ago I was at Willie’s Joint playing cornhole, and I lost my grandmother’s ring. It fell off my finger and I didn’t notice until hours later. I’ve already called them to see if it’s in lost and found. So hence the long shot. If any of the 933 souls in this sub happened to find it, I would cry real tears of joy.

It’s a stamped sterling silver Navajo shadow box ring. Not worth much but priceless in terms of sentimentality. I’m so crushed to have lost it.

Hi everyone, this is a long shot, but I’m trying to find a kind customer I had a brief, lovely interaction with late last year.
It was on or about, December 7, 2025, just before noon at the Buda H-E-B. I asked a gentleman if he could help me reach the Abuelita Coco mix from the top shelf. He was incredibly kind, got it down for me, and we shared a nice smile and a brief conversation before going our separate ways.

I regretted not asking for his name. If this sounds like you, or a friend who mentioned a sweet interaction over hot chocolate around Christmas time, I’d love to say hello properly. Please send me a message and tell me who I was with or what I wore so I know it’s you!

Had the reuben. I'm not a reuben connoisseur so I can't really compare it to anything, but I am fat and I enjoyed it. The fries were also pretty good.

Is anyone else having an infestation of little, tiny fly/gnat/nose rums in their house? What are they and where did they come from?

Did you know that our city is using Flock cameras to track our license plates and whereabouts. These cameras are setup with facial identification, although most cities say they don’t utilize the feature, they could at any time. The systems are shared from city to city, county to county and state to state. They are being misused by officers to track spouses, exes, neighbors, and most recently a Texas sheriff used the information he gathered from 89,000 cameras to track a woman seeking medical care across multiple states.

Flock is not used by Austin, San Marcos or Hays County, so why does our small town feel the need to spy on its citizens?
