Cable Id

Found this while sorting through old cables found in my college's theatre light/sound booth. Can't fund any visual matches on google and have no idea what it was used for

proprietary cable for a light of some sort been a while since I've seen one of those

It’s a cable for stage lighting it’s a museum piece. Somewhere buried in my storage I have a couple of them

I had a feeling it was lighting, but I was curious if anyone knew what type of light. Not that we have any left here, but I find older technology super fascinating, and it'd be neat to see where it went

I will try rack my brain and see if the manufacturer comes to me. There’s no ids on them is there that would help.

That looks like a proprietary 4-pin lighting connector, possibly from older theatre/stage equipment. I wouldn’t assume it’s XLR just from the pin count the unusual connector shape suggests it’s equipment-specific. The exact device/model would be needed to ID it confidently.
