Ok. This is probably massive skill issue on my part (possibly amplified by progesterone effects and me being tired right now).
I wanna try shelly.
I install it via pacman. Launch the GUI.
I enable AUR
Try to install AUR package (both with the cli command and the GUI)
Failed to download package sources
error: AUR operation failed
error: BuildFailed
:: Transaction failed.
I look in the docs / wiki. Nothing related to that issue.
I look in the github issues, nothing related to that issue.
Try with another AUR helper, It works.

I enable appimages.
Open the GUI, select the appimage section.
"Drag and drop appimages here to install"
I drag and drop the appimage. Nothing happens.
I click the "+ install appimage" button, select an appimage file.
error: AppImage operation failed
error: AppImage operation failed
error: AccessDenied
:: Transaction failed.
I try to install it with the cli. Same error.
I look in github issues / discussions. Nothing related to that issue.
I look in the appimage section in the shelly wiki.
It mentions installing appimages through two methods : static url or repository
Says nothing about how to actually use any of these two methods.
Search for github issues / discussions. Nothing related to that issue.
...
I click on "updates" in the GUI
"Impossible to execute shelly check-updates. Check the cli output and retry"
I run "shelly check-updates" in the cli.
It gives a list of installable packages whose name are close to "check-updates"
...
What ? Am I completely stupid ? Is this an elaborate prank ?
