Recently got a great deal on this Cadillac STS 2007. This car is one of my favorites. I went from a Kia Forte to this gorgeous car. 👌

Shortly after I put new tires on my 2010 Saab, I lost compression in one of the cylinders.
The Saab has the same front set up. Transfered the wheels over. Had OEM 20in on it. 20in tires had tread but were 4+ years old with 40k miles on them.
I'm getting used to the look, but it does ride a bit better.

Has anyone with a newer Escalade dealt with noticeable wind noise from the driver’s side?
I have a 2026 Escalade Sport, and starting around 45+ mph I notice wind noise that seems to be coming from the driver’s door/window area.
For context, I have had 4 Escalades in the past 10 years and mostly recently had a 2024 that my husband now drives, so I can easily compare the wind noise between the two cars. I know how an Escalade should sound....
The dealer has tried to fix it twice (and ironically the loaner smaller Cadillac SUV I got each time does NOT have the issue), and both times it looked like they just replaced the weatherstrip/window seal...and they also claimed this last time that their shop foreman "signed off on it" too.
Curious if anyone else has continued to have this issue and, more importantly, whether your dealer was actually able to fix it. If so, what ended up being the cause/repair? Should I just try a new dealer?

Never owned a cadillac, usually driven chevys. Im single so no family needs.
Thinking about getting a new (to me) car, my 04 impala has a lot of issues and I dont think its worth putting the money into anymore. Saw a 92 Deville near me, 45k miles, for 11.5k. Looks super clean, white exterior and red interior, absolutely beautiful.
Whats hemming me up is getting a 30 year old cadillac as a daily driver for obvious reasons lol. Would love to hear yalls thoughts, im either getting this or saving up a bit more for a camaro.
26m make 60k, do not pay rent, live on family land so i would be able to afford repairs no problem, but dont want to buy a sinking ship

The car in question is a 1975 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. It's been sitting for about 25 years and doesn't need much to get back on the road. But when I asked her to let me fix it, she said no!!

Just recently bought a 2016 ATS-V. only has wired carplay. i tried two different wireless carplay adapaters, one didn’t fit, the other just didn’t work. Any ATS-V owners or cadillac owners in general know one that works?

With about 91k miles in pristine condition from a reputable dealership for $43k
Is it worth it or just a headache waiting to happen?
I’m new to GM suvs but contemplating either a suburban , Yukon xl or Escalade esv

The minute I drove the car away from the dealer I could tell there was something wrong with the shifting, gearing, and power delivery. The engine is revving too high in relation to pressure on the gas pedal. It's super punchy and jumpy. Basically, acceleration sensitivity and surging. As soon as you put 1 inch on the gas pedal the car launches. From a stop, turning right or left, a little bit of gas and the tires spin. And this is a 4 wheel drive car. Before the cam repair the car never did that.
And today, it was raining. The car was spinning all over the place. Also erratic shifting. Hard shifting, jerky and not smooth. Short shifting. When going up an incline it gets confused about what gear it wants to be in.
Further, unresponsive when passing. Say from 30 to 45, it decelerates first then decides to get up and go. I understand turbo lag, but it never drove like this prior to the camshaft carrier service. Additionally, manual downshifting using the steering wheel paddles does not function as before. The car is not slowing down like it did before the repair. It gets itself in a high rev position. And even when slowing down to 5 mph, it does not want to go into 1st gear.
I'm taking it back to the dealer tomorrow. Anyone else have any familiarity with this issue? Thanks!

Just kidding.
Starting our take down (as you can see very delayed per the dust accumulation) to start a complete rewire of the vehicle to better gauge stuff. Better custom crafted connectors, adding of a four horn (3 is odd to me) and full reupholstery with the same Calcutta cloth! New chrome as well coming in

Saw this car scrolling on TikTok, comments had no answer and it didn’t seem to be the owners page.

I recently bought a 2022 Escalade ESV and I was thinking about trying to start something possibly new. Jeeps have been doing the “Jeep Wave” for years. What if all Escalade owners started waving to each other. As the post name suggests it could be the “Esca-Wave” TM. Thought I’d see what this community thought about it.

Supposedly this is THE CADILLAC from Smokey and the bandit. I do not personally have proof of this, but the owner is incredibly wealthy and (supposedly) has paperwork and proof to prove it so. He let me drive it around, great guy.

Does anyone know where I can find De-Ambered headlight housings for a 2002 cadillac deville? (Mine is a hearse) I see DIY instructions, but I would rather just purchase it pre-done if possible.
Attached is a partial AI generated image of what I'm going for, and my current setup.
*Darn, I misspelled Deville.

We just had an engine replacement in our 2016 Escalade. Prior to this, when the lights were in the Auto position, both headlights and taillights were always on.
Post-replacement, they don't come on until it's dark out.
We prefer them on all the time, is there any way to go back to this? It doesn't seem like it should have worked this way before, but it did. We inherited this car and the original owners bought it new.

Hello everyone. I understand absolutely nothing about cars, so forgive my ignorance. I used to hate cars, and I still prefer biking/ walking for daily commute, but I should absolutely love to have a car like this. I don't even know what model this is, but it is absolutely gorgeous. It looks like it's straight out of a barbie film.
My question is whether this model (or similar classic models) can be found for a reasonable price or not. Are they still drivable in the modern day? Specially here in Europe with narrow roads and lot's of traffic lights. Also, can the average person maintain them without living at the mechanics shop and spending a fortune?
I just want to have a general idea of what it would mean to own this darling.

Hello Folks,
Im planning to get the 2027 cadillac lyriq Signature luxury. Wanted to get a consensus from folks who own a lyriq - what aspects you really like and hate and wished could be better. Appreciate your help.
