IRCC advertising express entry for sectors which receive thousands of applicants per opening - August 27, 2026
Healthcare is fine, there is a well understood, visible shortage. STEM is saturated and it's not even close
They are not measuring the actual job market, even with the data we do have. There are 5 unemployed Bachelor's holding candidates per position which requires a Bachelor's degree in Canada per StatCan data. It's not just entry level positions being squeezed, and the government is carrying on like nothing has changed since 2023.
The combined TFW, International Student, and PR targets for 2026 are over 750k. While this is a reduction from 2022 levels, it is still well above and beyond sustainable and almost double 2000-2018 levels.
Mark Carney just brought Dominic Barton into an appointed position. Now both Century Initiative founding members are in our Federal government.

Abandoned House, Niagara Region
I came upon this old abandoned house in the Niagara area last year. I only know of one person who has managed to get inside it and unfortunately that person is not me!
The last time I stopped by, they had covered all of the windows and doors with fresh plywood boards.
So for now, we just get to enjoy this exterior photo!

Personal Opinion Why Are the Majority of Canadians So Stupid?
This is a serious question. I’m Canadian, and I want to know why you’re all so fucking stupid and think voting liberal is a good idea with the way the country has been going for the last decade and how Mark Carney literally lies through his teeth and laughs every time he lies on camera. He literally does not care about Canada at all and this is all for him to make a sweet profit off your pension and tax dollars. None of the investment money he bloats about is staying in the country, and it’s all derisked and aid up front to the so called investors. Like fucking do some reading on the guy and stop trusting cbc. He’s a fucking economic grim reaper.
