Loved this last paragraph from RJ:

So, in the summer before last season I shelled out a pretty penny for a Quinn Hughes jersey thinking he would be around for a while. Especially considering he was captain. I thought I had purchased a jersey with the name and numbers stitched to the actual jersey, but turns out it's stitched together then heat pressed. Needless to say I decided to risk trying to strip it myself. The name plate already had a corner peeling (Thanks a lot hockey shop in Langley) so I was able to pull it right off. Step 1 complete.

4. We get a fresh start this year, new coach, new vibes

5. Tickets are more affordable when the team has lower expectations

6. You get to bond with the real fans who are with the team through the ups and downs

Ok genuinely, I've been a Canucks fan my whole life but I haven't had a proper jersey since I was a kid and Im looking to buy myself one. But man has anyone else seen the prices of these things?! Im almost nervous to spend that much on a jersey only for one of my favourite players to get traded. Would it be better to get just a plain jersey for safety sake or do we think the mass trading will be quieted down this season?
