Driving instructors?

Done my lessons 3 years ago but haven’t really been behind a wheel since after an accident, but slowly getting back into it. Looking to do a few lessons to get me back into driving and prepare for my test, anyone know any instructors good for nervous drivers?

i started learning to drive when i was 17 then stopped and didn’t start back again until my mid twenties. i was so so nervous starting back. i went with caroline keliher and she helped so much with my anxiety around driving. really helped me start from scratch and build up my confidence from there. will never forget bawling my eyes out in her car at a small roundabout in the wexford road business park haha! but she helped regain my confidence so much!

Audrey Coogan.
Really easy going and will get you where you need to be driving wise.

Seconded- Audrey or her dad, Peter Coogan - he's a gentleman, they're a lovely family and make you feel comfortable

Can’t help much with who’s reccomended but I can tell you who to avoid
I would avoid Ingear driving school, I done 3 lessons with an instructor named Joe from there who took great pride in telling me how many black marks he has against him and how many complaints he has gotten, I explained my position of being an extremely nervous driver and it meant very little to him, I found him quite intimidating and not very helpful

I'd highly recommend Caroline Kelliher. One of the nicest women you'd ever meet. I did 12 lessons with one instructor but I didn't feel confident and felt like I still had a lot to learn. So I decided to try another instructor for a few extra lessons. I came on so much under her teachings and she was so kind. I felt so much more comfortable and confident. Best of luck and I hope you'll be able to overcome any fear or worries you may have. I'm sure you'll be flying it in no time!

Cathal Kavanagh, very relaxing and gives great advice on the particulars.

I did my 12 lessons in 2019, and went back to driving after college (didn’t drive at all during college) and passed my test after a few lessons with him
