It's called wooling, making biscuits while holding the blanket in his mouth. It's a self-soothing activity. When we adopted our daughter's cat, he did this a lot. As he got used to us and his new surroundings he gradually did it less, but whenever he felt stressed he would do it. Not to worry, it's normal.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I really don't get all the comments saying it's sin biscuits???? Am I missing something? People are saying he's humping the blanket but I don't see any humping going on at all. Am I blind or something?

Nope, you are actually still capable of unique thought and observation, congrats.

This is self soothing aka kneading, the same thing kitten do subconsciously to stimulate the mammary glands. It sticks around into adulthood sometimes...

There is 0 humping going on in this clip.

Agreed, this is normal cat soothing behavior.

Say it louder for the back!

My lady cat, Karma, does this.

My fixed lady cat Chubba has done this ever since I’ve had her. It’s only with fleece blankets :)

Yep thought I was crazy. Basically all cats I’ve ever had knead

Exactly this.

But the frame where this happens…. What the heck I is this then? I thought it could possible just be weird times arm movement and just the white from the wall in the back but it’s definitely not. Also the whole video looks like very mild humping especially at this moment

There's literally jizz shooting out of the cat...

For me this is the preface to my cat actually humping. He'll do this for a while, and if I don't stop him, he eventually begins to hump.

My female cat also does this, sin biscuits is a term I had never heard till now

My cat also did this. It isn't sin biscuits though. People are saying he's humping the blanket but he just isn't doing that. He's just kneading and chewing the blanket. Bunch of perverts will see what they want to see.

Its because this is behaviour done by male cats when they're about to mount a female. They scruff them by the collar, and kneed at them.. cat mating is pretty aggressive actually . Do not look that up ..

My female cat also used to chew on a blanket and knead. So... ok.

I was about ti say its just biscuits but you can literally see something white shoot from the cats nether regions as he humps after a few seconds.

Oh my god. I'm sick of saying this and so is the OP. It is literally LIGHT.

OP has also said several times that there's nothing on the sheets. Nothing. Jesus Christ.

Lmao aight brother sorry i didnt read the whole thread of everyone elses posts lmao

So you comment on posts without even knowing what's going on, spouting your opinion with no context.

Incredible. We need more people like you.

I read OP’s post and watched the video.  Do you consider that no context? If they have to say it a million times maybe they should edit their post lmao

I saw a little hip action in the beginning but not again through the rest of the video.

Only way you can really tell, in the case of a male, is to see if his penis is erect when he does this.

For females I guess you can only judge based on their hip motions. It usually looks really obvious compared to the benign "steppy steppy steppy" motions of their paws xP

My cat did this before being fixed and would have physical reactions to doing it. That's why it's called sin biscuits.

2

u/I_Dont_Speak_Anymore Aug 02 '26

But it's literally not sin biscuits though. He's not humping at all. He's chewing the blanket and kneading.

1

u/ZealousidealGas3774 Aug 02 '26

I won't say it's the case, it's not my cat but due to the grabbing of the blanket in this fashion, it is highly associated with how male felines bite the neck during mating.

1

u/I_Dont_Speak_Anymore Aug 02 '26

My female cat also bit her blanket when she was making biscuits... so what are you even talking about.

It is literally light. The OP has said multiple times that there's absolutely nothing on the sheets.

You're all just perverts.

It didn't. It's just a light, OP even explained that.
