There is a story that pops up occasionally about a cat that learned to "pay" for food from a local fish shop. I'm fairly sure this was the picture from that story.
He apparently noticed people giving the store owner money and getting fish in return. The cat showed up one day with a leaf, hopped up on the counter and dropped it by the shop owner.
The shop owner happily accepted the payment and gave him a small bit of fish, and from that point on, the cat would show up almost daily with a leaf to get a piece of fish. It's a awesome story 😊❤️

Omg my weirdo is not the only one with a leaf kink!
If i catch her bringing a leaf back from across the street, it is almost like she gets embarrassed. She drops the leaf, looks around, licks her paw all casual like 'nothing to see here'

Many years ago I had a mama cat who would bring in random pieces of paper from the empty field next to our house. She had a special meow when she would come through the door with it. My wife and I would always accept the offering and tell her what a good kitty she was.
