Medical Questions Feeling Guilty
Hey everyone I’m just posting because we didn’t not have the money to get our boy neutered so the neighbor took him as a TNR. Well I wasn’t exactly aware of the whole ear tipping thing and now that’s he’s home it seems like half his ear is gone. 😢😢😢 he is not a stray or a feral he’s never even been outside but a couple times as a kitten. I feel terrible. It’s such a big chunk. I just feel so bad is he gonna be okay? Is the chunk always going to look so noticable

Your cat will be okay, I promise. My cat, Castiel, spent the first couple of months of his life in a feral cat colony. He was neutered and his ear was clipped because the plan was to release him. However, he was friendly and his eye was injured so the rescue decided to treat the eye so he could be adopted. I fostered him after the neuter and ear snip and before the eye removal, and he was completely unbothered by the ear snip.

How old is your cat - is he still a kitten? If he's "never been outside but a couple times as a kitten," then how did your neighbor GET him to TAKE him for TNR?
In any case, your neighbor did you a favor, and your kitty will be fine. Please don't let him roam - too many predators out there!
