Another score!
I found this on eBay for £25. It came with two dead keys which I immediately repaired. It’s a Casio PT-1, which is a real analogue synth in spite of its unassuming appearance. It is essentially the same hardware as a Casio VLTone VL-1 minus the adjustable envelope settings etc. This particular one is in pastel pink and blue which turns out to be a rare colour. They usually sell for a fair bit more.
My collection is getting a little silly now but I love this group for sharing in the same strange passion as me. I will one day share some of my music with you guys when I feel less afraid to expose my playing to the world lol.

it looks so dope! I am curious how the "fantasy" instrument sounds like

The fantasy sound is like gameboy zelda music or something. It’s really awesome!

I had this. I can still hear the fantasy sound clear as day. And the other sounds. Definitely the piano and the violin

I adore the tones. It might be somewhat limited but they sound so resonant. It feels like a synth to play too in a weird way. I can tell it isn’t just samples. Very warm sounding. I look forwards to recording it.

Do a library maybe :-). I now have the demo song playing on a loop and mine died probably 40 years ago!

I have a Casio PT-20 that I think shares the same sound engine.
But it also has this odd little block of tiny chord buttons to the left that makes it look really archaic in comparison.
What's the demo song on that PT-1? (Mine doesn't have one.)

I am not sure what it is but a quick google search says it’s a German Folk song lmao. It sounds cool whatever it is.

Ah, the Unterlanders Heimweh tune. I'm reminded that thing has a convoluted origin story.

I have it in blue, non-functional, but could take a closer look at it sometime. Thought they only made SK-1s in pink!

Wow!

Fantastic find, that's a treasure. I bend and repair a lot of pt-1s and 10s and missing slider knobs are way too common of a problem -- I plan to (in the future when time permits) 3D print (possibly resin print?) as exact a replacement as I can get, maybe make one or two batches. I'll hit you up when I do if you want?
