Great news! Leno’s Law is in its final read through before going to Governor’s desk to be signed into law. I signed up for updates and this is what I got this morning. Too bad we have to wait until 2028 though.

Yes guys will argue this was not a 1st Gen Mustang but it really was. 73 was the last year a convertible would be available until a few years into the Fox body generation. This one has a smogged restricted 302ci with an auto trans.

Edit: The 302 for 1973 put out a whooping 141 HP.

1939 Chevrolet Master 85 Summer Project Update

We've been working most weekends on getting the 39 not just drivable around the block, but reliably for long distance, and it's almost there. Since Mid-June, in roughly chronological order we've:

Cooling System: Replaced the old brass radiator with a fancy, shiny, (cheaper) aluminum one, but kept the old one in case I want to get it cleared out and restored. While we were at it, we flushed a surprising amount of radiator stop-leak out of the water pump and put on a new backing plate; the impeller seems to be good but we MAY have to get it rebuilt if it's the thing leaking small amounts of coolant because replacements are made of unobtanium.

Electrical System: Wired up the headlights... and they turned on! The tail/registration and brake light bulb sockets were FULL of rust so they required "a little" wire brushing. We put a rubber pad for insulation on the underside of the battery cover because we added a marine-style quick disconnect for the POSITIVE battery cable because that's the ground wire on this insane car (positive ground vehicles were quite common before WW2, kids).

Brakes: Finally got around to doing hardware and drums for the rear. If you ever find yourself having to this on a 1937-54 Chevy, I'm so sorry for you lol.

Cabin: We fabricated a mount for the very incorrect accelerator pedal that came with the car (This still needs attention as the pedal tends to slip off the throttle rod)

Detailing: After making it street legal, we actually made the car a little prettier by scrubbing the white walls down with Bleche-Wite (check out the front/rear comparison), brightening up some the chrome and finally giving it the wash it so desperately deserved!

This guy was cool enough to stop his car when he saw my camera to allow some good pics. Don't know what was under the hood but it sounded amazing. Right outside of the Fremont Experience in Las Vegas.

Originally commissioned by a young King Baudouin of Belgium, design icon Giovanni Michelotti penned this masterful Aston Martin DB2/4 one-off for Vignale, who dispensed with its trademark grill. It was purchased in the 1960s by a U.S. soldier serving with NATO in Paris, who brought it to America.

My old Malibu Wagon

This was my 1975 Chevrolet Malibu Wagon. It had swivel bucket seats. I never really drove it, because I had no time and money to fix it. I sold it to people who used it as a movie car. It appeared in the "The Continental" series. The last three pictures are from after I sold it.

I inherited my grandfather’s 67 stepnose and it was restored to it’s original condition. I was wondering what if any modification other 105 series owners recommend
