Is there any reason why we couldn’t have asked Harden to drop down to 60 million dollars over 3 years so we could keep Dean Wade also?

So we got the crud end of the stick again with our broadcast options, nobody was surprised and Johnny Depp gifs pretty much sum up the collective mood on the news. Things look even worse with the addition of AI features that nobody wants. The only somewhat redeeming part of the announcement seemed to be this:

“Production expands from 6 to 19 cameras, including Cosm's ultra-high resolution 10.5K systems for sweeping perspectives and new angles of the action.”

Does this mean we’ll get decent fidelity like 4K, or will it be compressed to shit on some vibe coded app like everything else? Maybe someone who has seen their MMA broadcasts can speak to the quality, or lack thereof.

The most shocking thing about DAZN is that it’s pronounced “da zone” which is inexcusably stupid, especially for a company based out of Britain. At this point, the only way I’m shelling out $20 a month is if the broadcasts are in 4K or if DAZN announces a corporate partnership with the Utz snack company.
