Looking for azure mentor

Hey everyone,

I’m currently working in IT support/systems administration, dealing with the daily grind of networking, client troubleshooting, and general infrastructure support.

My goal is to make the leap into an Azure Cloud Support Engineer or Junior Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer role, but I'm hitting a common plateau: self-studying certifications and running isolated sandbox labs only gets you so far when it comes to understanding real enterprise cloud architecture.

I’m looking for an experienced Azure professional (Cloud Support Engineer, SysOps, or Cloud Architect) who would be willing to mentor me. I am completely fine with a paid arrangement

Where I currently stand:

Actively studying for role-relevant certs (working around AZ-900 / AZ-104 concepts).

Familiar with core Azure concepts and working through hands-on labs (Entra ID, VNets/peering, NSGs, Storage, VMs)

Why do you feel like you need a mentor? If I were back in your shoes I’d just hop into Azure. Build shit, break shit, fix shit. Enterprise architecture comes later. Learn foundations first.

Well we all have different lifestyle mate am ok with finding a mentor but people out there may do it on there own so it's totally UpTo their own decision

Well it’s a huge ask for a total stranger to devote time to your learning. Paid or not, I’m almost certain whatever you’re offering isn’t worth an architect getting out of bed for.

In all honesty, if you haven’t got it in you to learn this stuff independently then you probably aren’t cut out for this line of work. Considering that literally half of the job is just reading docs and working out solutions independently.
