COACHELLA RADIUS CLAUSE
- "Coachella uses radius clauses which could prevent acts from performing in Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, or San Diego within a certain window. The festival has allowed some of its acts to make appearances in the region prior to the festival, but only at events and venues owned or controlled by AEG. According to the radius clause...
- Artists playing Coachella are barred from performing any festival in North America from December 15 to May 1.
- Artists are also barred from playing any hard ticket concerts in Southern California during that same time period.
- Artists can’t “advertise, publicize or leak” performances at competing festivals in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington or Arizona or headliner concerts in SoCal that take place after May 1 until after May 7.
- Artists can’t announce festival appearances for the other 45 states in North America until after the Coachella lineup is announced in January, with exceptions made for Austin’s South by Southwest, Ultra Miami and the AEG-backed New Orleans Jazzfest.
- Artists must also wait for the January announcement before publicizing tour stops in California, Arizona, Washington and Oregon, with an exception made for Las Vegas casinos, but not Las Vegas festivals.
- Terms are negotiable though generally less leniency is given to higher billed artists."

I need another full orchestral experience

My first time at Coachella was in 2017 when Hans Zimmer performed. I was completely blown away and it’s definitely one of my favorite “Coachella” moments. We got Danny Elfman with a mixture of his score and oingo boingo songs. Again another great “Coachella” moment for me. I missed out on Labyrinth and Bjork, I know my bad. In 2025 Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Philharmonics absolutely killed it and granted another “Coachella moment”.
All weekend 2 btw. Unless I’m forgetting but they skipped out this year with something similar like a composer. I’m basic but I would die if Michael Giacchino, Ludwig Goransson or even Bear McCreary were on that line up. I don’t know whah their schedules look like or even if they perform for that matter. I’d be cool if they brought Trent and Atticus back and they just played their scores only.

Group Car Camping with Less Than 10 Cars

Can anyone who did group car camping in 2026 comment on how they enforce the number of cars when you arrive? We have over 10 people so we will fill the 10 members during registration and pay the fees, but will show up with less than 10 cars (around 5-6 cars).
Do they just combine other groups with you, or is there a chance they move us to general car camping? I see on the website it says "Unfilled spots/no shows may be filled with a random car / car camper as needed automatically.", but wanted to see how that actually worked in practice this past year.

Reasons no:
they have said over and over again that the band isn't getting back together.
Reasons yes:
The non Timberlake members have been doing a lot of press lately.
Everyone has said the two barriers to a reunion are Justin's schedule and not knowing if they could physically hold up on a tour.
Justin's solo career has not gone as he planned and he could use a redemption story.
The success of JB last year has shown millennial pop as a viable headliner.
Their main rivals are crushing it in Vegas.
And the biggest sign for me
My friend that used to work for GV didn't shoot it down instantly, like he does most of my guesses.

Jersey, who just a few years ago played their first US shows at Coachella have been teasing a lot of new music. Anybody who was at their DoLab set knows what a party they threw! Been dying for a return to the US and hoping that Coachella books them in April!
