Best we can do is reset with 50% reduction of total limits.

why you guys wants Astra?

It will eat the 5h and weekly limits even faster

Because Sol is still dumb.

you're missing a very large point here. new models don't just come as one single reasoning level.

luna max is much cheaper than 5.5 xhigh and it does the same job better.

efficiency is not the frontier model, but the lower things that get released with it.

imagine sol 5.6 max at luna max pricing and then astra max is the new celling.

that's the idea.

Lol. If you actually used both instead of looking at benchmarks testng tiny trivial tasks, you would know that it is far from true. Only the cheaper part is correct

I'm very interested in knowing what kind of tasks Luna does better than 5.5 xhigh did

i've had this thing running on and off for a while. the results you get will vary by the work you do. this is a fullstack project with a whole bunch of online lookups and mock generation with imagegen. not saying that this is the result every will get. just saying two things

  1. dismissing things unequivocally is usually not correct
  2. i've had very good results with it
  3. your milage may vary

yes luna might not get things 100% right the first time, but it runs at a fraction of the price of 5.5 xhigh. it gives you much more room to tweak things with a fraction of the usage even when you factor in all the revisions.

So we agree that the main benefit of Luna is that it is cheap, not that it is better than 5.5. Have you compared the code quality between them?

I let Luna run once for 12 hours and it was a mess, had to refactor most of it. I can't imagine letting it work for almost 6 days. And it only did 1000 lines of code in 6 days, or am I reading this wrong?

this is what i wrote. maybe you misread.

it's not 1000 lines in 6 days. that was the last chunk of work in the goal. it separates stuff into different prs and checks each one separately. there's over 140 prs that it has merged in that period.

If our 5h+weekly limites can barely last 20 mins, what makes u think astra will hold up. we probably cant even use it for 5 mins LMFAO

Dude no offense but I’m not on the $20 plan.
