Sir, that is not an appropriate response to this blatant attempt on her life
If my friend reqcted that way to me surviving this kind of attack I would be PISSED

I woke up with a wasp in my hair once.
That was not a fun morning, or day, as it turned out they were chewing the wall right next to my bed. I could hear them. The chewing, the non stop chewing. All I could hear at night was nothing but non stop chewing in my wall.

Wait, did you suddenly find out you are a Dad?
I can't think of any other excuse for these dad joke puns. ðŸ¤

I would not be able to remain that calm and joke-flirty. I'd be sprinting a 10K in the other direction.

Oh no. Confession time. In 2nd grade during class I saw a bee fly into this girl's long hair. I was the only one who saw. I didn't want to speak up because I might get scolded for talking during class. So I did nothing. The girl felt something in her hair and started absently combing it with her fingers. She accidentally grabbed the bee and it stung her hand. She started crying and had to go to the nurse. My secret shame for not speaking out.

Gotta say, bees aren't bugs. Bugs are a distinct subgroup without flexible jointed legs, which bees definitely have. There's other differences, like the mouth, but the legs are the most noticeable trait.
All bugs are insects, but not all insects are bugs. 😉

For some reason this reminds me of a Bojack Horseman line that goes for a light jog around my brain every few weeks:
