The Trump regime, not content with pissing off our formerly closest ally by renaming bodies of water, is also fucking with mail-in voting. Trump, like many Republican fascist wannabes, has a thing against mail-in voting, not because it's easy to manipulate or full of fraud or anything else he might say, but because anything that makes it easier for people to vote makes it harder for his party to stay in office.

Bit of a side note: Something like a quarter of the American electorate thinks elections are unlikely to be fair. That's insane but the thing that really gets me about this is, how do the Democrats look at that and fail to see that the American people can be led to have opinions? Instead of focus-testing all your policy positions, people, why not try picking a suite of policies and leading the American people to them? Obviously it's possible to invent crises out of whole cloth and get large swathes of voters to worry about them. How about we try that but for progressive policies?
