There will be a position coming up at my current work place in Torrington avenue coventry for a Hgv driver for a 8 wheel beavertail to deliver plant and access around the midlands.

So, just got back from a trip into town.

West Orchards car park, both the green & red doors are out of order? - and they are hinged doors, not automatic ones! Boarded up shops all over the place, but if you need a pair of trainers or a coffee you are sorted. Back to pay for the car park, the only working pay machines are by the red doors (which are 'out of order' remember) - then when we get to the barriers to insert the ticket we find there are no barriers, we could of just driven out anyway! Last week we found NO working pay machines, and they had to let us all out for free anyway.

I just don't get it - does the council not care anymore? Have they gone on an extended holiday?

We had traffic lights (which are there to control traffic and prevent accidents) taken away and now certain junctions are a free for all, bravest wins.

Our bins never get collected on the day assigned (Friday), but only on the next day (overtime Saturday?).

It's a joy to go to other towns, just to see working shops and facilities.

No idea what's going on with Coventry any more, just had to have a little rant to get it all out of my system.

I am relocating back to the UK soon in the Coventry area after a period of living and working in the Middle East. During my time here I have been involved in animal rescue - mainly with cats and I have adopted 3 here which I will be bringing back with me.

I would also love to find a UK home for the sweetest boy - Johnny.
He is around 3 years old and is currently in foster and doing well. Johnny just loves people and human company. He’s very affectionate; playful, intelligent and completely house trained. He is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and will be ready to fly in September.

He had a sad start to life as he was dumped along with his Mum and siblings and he was the only one to survive. He lived in a colony where he was fed by volunteers every day but because he loves people so much he wanders and was at serious risk of being removed by pest control so we found a foster for him.
But he would really love a home where he is the only cat. He’s so friendly, loves belly rubs and has the most amazing personality.

Windy Arbour badminton club (Kenilworth) is looking for more ladies players!

We're an official club of approx. 30 members registered with Coventry Badminton Association & Badminton England returning for the new league season in September.

We're a super friendly bunch playing regularly on Thursdays in Kenilworth's Castle Farm Leisure Centre. We pride ourselves in having a relaxed and fun approach to games, we take the game seriously but aren't scared to lose! We aim to be as welcoming as possible, we want everyone to feel included and part of the club.

We're open to any levels, beginners included, however you must know at least basics of how to move around the court and play doubles.

If you fancy more competitive games, currently we have a 1 Ladies team and 1 Mixed team, so there's an opportunity to play competitve matches if you're interested, but you're welcome to play only social games if that's more up your alley.

I’m trying to find anyone who witnessed a collision on the M6 southbound roughly between J2 (Coventry/Ansty) and J1 (Rugby) at around 7:30am on Thursday 27 August but I'm not too familiar with the area but within this general vicinity.

It involved a white Mercedes van and my vehicle (black BMW). I’m particularly hoping someone travelling that stretch between roughly 7:20–7:40am may have seen what happened or have dashcam footage.

I am not the owner of the vehicle or the footage, I have just received this video that has been shared amongst many groups online. Qashqai driver shouldn't have left the car running parked there and definitely shouldn't have risked his life trying to get it back but still angry that awful people like this exist. Posting to spread awareness and to put these guys faces out there.

It's been 6 months. I have retail and hospitality experience with a degree in physiotherapy and fitness instruction.

Applied around 300 retail and hospitality with no luck. Few months ago went to jobshop, national careers service, serco and refined the cv up to 50 times and done it again last week. Yet still these sectors just keep rejecting my application. It is ATS friendly, keyword rich, no mentiin of my education (just wrote personal development to fill the a year gap while i was at uni), speak 2 languages fluently, 2 page CV, no color or fancy words, moderated word count and listed every acurate duties i have done in my experience section.

Thought my name is the problem because it is arabic so i changed it to a better name but no result.

They be giving no feedback to see what is wrong. I don't know what else should i do. I can't belive even in a pool of large applicants that i have more experience can't land these basic jobs.

I don't like warehouse or construction as it is a hell of heavy work and my body can't handle that amount of stress. Why is this city like this
