Discussion/Question Adhesive Question

Post image

Wondering is anyone who is knowledgeable about adhesives can help me figure out what happened here?

We create wood signs and shipped this one out recently. The customer sent back this photo. We’ve probably made almost 100 signs at this point and have never seen anything like this happen. It was shipped from GA to CA. We use Gorilla Super Glue and always have.

This was painted then glued and sat in my house for 2 days before it was shipped. We regularly glue on painted surfaces and non-painted surfaces and have never seen this happen. If we do make mistakes it’s sooo difficult to remove pieces once glued.

Google say heat during transport? She sent a video opening it as well and cutting my packaging open, so I know she’s legit. I’m just confused lol.

Could have been a bad batch of glue if you used a new bottle/tube ? Just a thought.

Possibly but we’ve used the same bottle on a few other projects with no issues.
