Question on Throat Plate
I 3d printed a zero clearance throat plate for this saw, and the back side of (ie, the edge that would be on the side where the kerf splitter would sit) is slightly proud... it sticks up about a half a milimeter, according to my feeler guages. is this something I have to worry about? the front is fine, it is just a bit lower than the lip of the table on the front side. I just want to know if I have to keep fiddling with it at this point before I install the microjig kerf splitter kit whether I need to keep messing around with it. thank you!

You want the back side to be slightly proud of the saw surface so material doesn't catch. Half a millimeter might be a tad higher than ideal, but if the material you made it from is soft at all it'll probably wear down soon enough.

You can install inserts into the print, and then use a set screw to adjust the height. 0.5 mm is a lot and can cause things to jam.
