Imposter

What cruiser is the best impersonator of an American cruiser bike, sound, styling and power, I'd love to hear your thoughts

Hell yeah. And my VTX1800R.

The sound of a VTX1800 is nowhere near the sound of a Harley v-twin. Honda is a 52 degrees offset dual pin crankshaft and while it's great for power and balance, it gives the 1800 a horrendous sound.

Every car owner in the parking lots I blast through agree with you, as my bike sets off their car alarms. lol

I put big shots on it because stock Honda exhaust is quiet as a church mouse. I kept having to dodge cars as they jockeyed for position while approaching red lights at intersections.

I think it sounds mean as hell with those big shots on it. Loud enough I wear ear plugs on long rides. But I have to agree with you on the Harleys. The v twins have a unique sound that is hard to beat.

Didn’t Harley sue Honda over the Shadow ACE in the late 90s because Honda stole Harley’s sound? Lol

They tried to sue but lost.

🤷‍♀️ Yamaha Stryker and Raider have the low, long, raked-out chopper styling sorted.

If you want something retro the Roadliner (or Stratoliner?) have that sorted.

Maybe the Yamaha Raider or Honda VTX 1800

SWM Stormbreaker, it's... literally the Sportster, just with nother brand, because Harley sold the schematics

Probably an Indian or a Harley.
