I go to Latin socials every once in a while here in Florida, and a lot of the time it’s salsa and some bachata. I love dancing salsa and bachata, but my Mexican heart yearns Cumbia and I can’t find any events hosting Cumbia events. I live in Polk county, but I’m open to traveling if it means that I get to dance.

I am trying to find the song that I like but only remember like three words, and then a hum after that.

I BELIEVE, it goes as:

"Este cumbia se"(ve, or de)

Hum: na-na, nananananana

then repeats right after but with an even higher pitch

" este cumbiAAa se, na-na nananananAAa"

anything capitalized is a high pitch and it is a male singer, please lmk the song

Nacida en los 2000, entre los barrios y las fiestas, la primera y más conocida es la cumbia villera. Bandas como Damas Gratis, Supermerk2, Pibes Chorros y Yerba Brava tienen su música sonando en conciertos y estadios al terminar los partidos.

Más actualmente surgió el RKT . Desde mi interpretación, es una fusión entre el reggaetón, el trap, la cumbia y sonidos duros que tienen toda la intención de tirar calle y echar fiesta. Aquí destacan L-Gante, La Joaqui, DJ Tao y DJ Alex, entre otros.

Anybody have a playlist of vintage songs/artists, preferably bands with saxophones and electric guitar? Like from the 1950s-1970s? The Apple Music playlists seem to lean heavily toward newer stuff, and I don't really like polished production and synths and all that. Thank you!

So i was watching my mom's VHS tapes from 30 years ago in Ecuador and we are trying to figure out specifically the song name that is being played. We believe it might be colombian i don't know exactly if vallenato or cumbia but if you are familiar with this song like the name or artist please reach out and hopefully is not lost media
