Just so you know. There are no suicide hotlines in Cyprus that work after midnight. That gives you a taste of how much the government cares. Good Samaritans? They dont speak greek

Cyprus Samaritans here.

Your frustration is understandable, unfortunately half of our volunteers are non-Greek speakers. In case it helps, if you ask for someone that’s a Greek speaker when calling you’ll be informed when the next Greek speaking volunteer is on shift.

We’d love to have more Greek speakers in our team, so if you know anyone interested to volunteer nudge them in our direction - we have cookies.

Please note that we are not a government organization, we’re all volunteers, surviving through donations and with the help of our thrift stores.

and sometimes i don't think is moral correct to not let someone do something that they want if they don't have a reason to live we have to give them chance to do what they want

that's sad bc samaritans are the best in cyprus but in general i dont know how u can help i have this feeling everyday and is getting worse

I called the police tonight saying i want to kill myself. Even though they can find my number and my address nobody even cared to come find me
