I didn't realize that until the end, thought that it belonged over on r/unexpected because they only got pulled over instead of t-boned by another street racer that was a few seconds behind the first.

Makes sense the police didnt do anything. They'd have a better chance of catching a passenger air plane.

Honestly, I’ve been there. There’s a stoplight near me at an intersection where a small road crosses a four-lane which turns into a highway. Depending on the time of day, you could sit at the light for a full minute without seeing a soul. It’s well-lit at night too, so I’d be lying if I said I sat through the light cycle every time. I never do it when other cars are around though.

Also you can see there's like four cars in this entire clip and the cammer still goes ass to mouth with the guy's car in front of him like he's in gridlock or something. As if the light will only be green for .35 seconds.

If you look at the light on the other direction, you see it turn red before either driver moves. Both drivers probably hit the gas thinking it's about to turn green

I thought the purpose of the video was to never run a red light or you might get hit by the speed demon at the beginning of the video, but instead it's just a normal idiot getting pulled over. Yes I know the beginning was sped up. I didn't know it was first time watching though.
