I am actively looking for a data analyst job, and for that I'm continuously applying through Naukri, Foundit, Indeed and LinkedIn. Today I got a call in which a woman said she was calling from AAI(AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA) and there are several openings for IT and non-IT profiles. As I spoke further, she said they have many openings for Data Analysts throughout India. At first, I thought it was a legit call, but when I asked Where did you get my profile, as I didn't remember applying for AAI, she said through an online portal. As I got a little curious and asked one more time, like, "Can you tell me the exact platform?" she fumbled. At this point, I knew something was fishy. She said we're offering you around 40- 45 K in-hand salary, and for that, you have to give an online interview. The first round will be telephonic, the second online interview and if needed, you have to come for a face-to-face interview. I said yes to that. Then she said that, as your profile is not registered and is non-referral, you have to pay Rs 1200, which is refundable if you fail the interview.
At this point, I was convinced that this is a SCAM. So I said that this seems like a scam and you're looting money from people which is desperately looking for a job. She said, " No, sir, you can check the AAI website and all." As I told her, after checking there so such job openings on the official portal, and I started confronting her. I told her this way is not gonna work; she cut the call.
I want to tell you pls be aware of such fraud calls and fake job offers; there are plenty of them in the market. I already worked with 2 companies in the past, so I know nobody asks for money or fees that are refundable if you didn't get selected for a job when they're calling you from a company. People like me who are desperately looking for a job are their main target, as we don't think that much when we get a call for a job due to excitement.
So be aware.

Hey everyone... I am a 2nd year CSE student currently doing DSA, but I'm confused about how I should start development alongside it.

I have a friend who has built some pretty impressive projects and gotten internships/recognition. He told me that he mostly uses AI while building and didn't separately learn HTML, CSS and JS before starting projects.

So I'm confused about what the right approach actually is.

For seniors/developers:

How did you start development?

Should I learn HTML/CSS/JS properly first, or learn them while building projects?

What resources would you recommend?

How much time should I realistically divide between DSA and development during 2nd year?

What kind of projects should I aim for?

I'm not looking for a "best roadmap" necessarily ... I would just like to know what actually worked for people who have gone through this.

Hey everyone, I've been building a DSA learning platform called DSA Visualizer for quite some time. I'll be completely honest, I'm not someone who knows DSA inside out. I'm more interested in building the product and making the learning experience better.

I started building this because I wanted DSA to be more visual and interactive rather than just reading theory and code. So I wanted to ask if some of you could take a look and give me some honest feedback.

Guys i know java but know many are saying that cpp is much better for dsa what should i do before starting dsa btw i am in 1st year.

I'm 2025 grad. Have 1.5 yoe. I love tech but not corporate. I always wanted to work in a startup or space agency. Initially I was too much into startups but never got into a startup after trying coz I wasn't good in dev. Now I think sometimes corporate is not I wanted. Now a 2nd thought is coming to give isro/gate exam and get into either isro or some psu.

What would u suggest? I am a person who loves to explore tech on my free time and in my current job I don't get much time only if the product is launched then I'm getting some time else it's always very hectic and mostly I find myself working 10 hrs since there's so much meetings and trainings in corporate. That's y isro/gate is coming as a 2nd thought.

So a couple of weeks ago I posted here asking for help for my data structure course at university and I was able to pass it thankfully but right now I am seriously thinking of learning data structure properly so I want to ask if you recommend any courses or books and what is the best programming language to learn data structures on so if you can recommend anything I would appreciate it.

Is coder army DSA course good for the ones who don't know programming in C++ but are jumping straight to that course??

Hey everyone! I’m a 4th-year undergraduate at IIT, and I’ve been learning DSA for the past few months. With college, placements, and everything else going on, I’m finding it a bit difficult to stay consistent and focused while studying alone.

I’m looking for 2–3 people who are also learning DSA and want to study together, keep each other accountable, discuss problems, and stay consistent.

The idea is pretty simple:
• Study DSA regularly
• Solve problems together
• Discuss approaches when someone gets stuck
• Keep each other accountable
• Stay consistent instead of studying randomly

Hey everyone, I'm starting my [B.Tech](http://B.Tech) CSE next week and I have absolutely zero coding background. I'm trying to set a practical target for my first 6 months: completing about 60% of a standard DSA sheet (covering Arrays, Strings, Binary Search, Linked Lists, and basic Trees). I want to know if this is a realistic goal that will push me, or if I'm just setting myself up for burnout. From what I've gathered, a lot of people suggest learning C++ from Love Babbar and doing Striver's sheet, while leaving C language for college in Sem 2. However, I want to make it clear that I am completely flexible. I am not attached to Babbar, Striver, or any specific creator. I am open to any free playlist or paid course, as long as it is efficient and gives a structured path. My main doubt is about the execution. Should I spend 3-4 weeks purely learning C++ syntax before even touching a DSA sheet, or should I learn the language side-by-side while solving problems? What is the actual best sequence for a day-1 beginner? I just need some straightforward, practical advice on how to map this out. Thanks!
