Piracy concerns
It has come to my attention that multiple users have been either asking for pdf’s of resources they knowingly would have to pay for otherwise, or have made it clear that they are willing to distribute such resources. I know most of you just simply want to help other people out and share what you have to get better scores, but I simply cannot allow copyrighted information to passed around and not do anything about it. So this is your warning, if myself or anyone on the mod team sees people trying or have pirated works/books, we will not hesitate to give you the boot.

help with inference questions please (top tips or just anything)
Can someone please help me with inference questions in general? I keep getting stuck between two answer choices and then end up choosing the wrong one. For example, in this problem, I was stuck between A (the correct choice) and B (the wrong choice), and I ended up choosing B. I keep making this same mistake across inference questions, so I’d really appreciate any advice on how to decide between two choices when I’m stuck. I try the predict before choosing an answer choice method but my predictions for dense reading passages like these are horrible.

Fall 2026 SAT dates, deadlines, and score release — save this if you're still deciding when to test
Saw a few people asking about this in different threads, so figured I'd put the remaining fall 2026 dates in one place:
September 12, 2026
- Late registration deadline: September 1, 2026
- Score release: September 25, 2026
October 3, 2026
- Registration deadline: September 18, 2026
- Late registration deadline: September 22, 2026
- Score release: October 16, 2026
November 7, 2026
- Registration deadline: October 23, 2026
- Late registration deadline: October 27, 2026
- Score release: November 20, 2026
December 5, 2026
- Registration deadline: November 20, 2026
- Late registration deadline: November 24, 2026
- Score release: December 18, 2026
If you're mapping this to application deadlines, the thing that trips people up isn't the test date, it's the score release date:
- Early Action/Early Decision (Nov 1 or Nov 15 deadlines): October 3 is realistically your last safe option. November 7 releases scores on November 20 — after both of those deadlines have passed.
- Regular Decision (Jan 1 or Jan 15 deadlines): December 5 works, but it's tight. Scores land December 18, right before the holidays, so don't leave sending scores to colleges until the last few days of the month.
- Retaking after a previous score: make sure you actually know why the last score landed where it did before picking the next date. A retake with the same weaknesses usually doesn't move much.
Happy to help if anyone's trying to reverse-engineer which date fits their specific deadline — drop your target schools' deadlines and I can help you work backward from there.

Study Guide / Material Desperately Need a 1500+
Hey everyone, I desperately need at least a 1500+ on my SAT for scholarships and because I’m applying to universities in the US for my undergraduate degree
Currently, I’m learning from James Lu’s playlist. For anyone who has completed the playlist, how helpful was it? I’d also really appreciate any recommendations for other resources or tips that could help me reach a 1500+. I have 7 weeks to prepare for the test

Avoiding careless mistakes
Hey guys so every time I solve a hard math question I get some questions wrong even though I know all of their patterns. How to avoid making tiny mistakes that lead to the wrong answer?

Can I realistically reach 1350 on the SAT as an ESL student?(1040 on SAT as 10th in april)
I’m currently a junior and an ESL student, and I’m planning to graduate early.
When I took the PSAT in April of my sophomore year, I scored:
Math: 650/760
Reading & Writing: 390/760
Total: 1040/1520
During the summer, I self-studied Algebra 2 and completed it with an A. Math is one of my strongest subjects, and I’m planning to pursue a STEM major, so I’m hoping to eventually get close to a perfect Math score.
I’m planning to take the SAT around 4–5 times between October 2026 and May/June 2027.
My goal is to get at least 1350, ideally with a very high Math score.
Do you think 1350+ is realistically achievable with this amount of preparation time, considering my PSAT starting point?
I’d especially appreciate advice from other ESL students or students who started with a relatively low Reading & Writing score.
I’m also looking for advice on:
The most effective ways for ESL students to improve SAT Reading & Writing
How to increase my score as efficiently as possible
Free resources/websites you would recommend
Paid SAT books, courses, or other resources that are actually worth the money
How you would structure studying between multiple SAT attempts
Any advice or personal experiences would be really helpful.

(?) Question How can I improve my score?
To start off, I have no experience with SAT, due to the fact that SAT is not that well known in my country, however I need at-lest 1300 on my SAT to apply for a college aboard and I have 2 months before the test date to prepare, what should I expect in the test and how can I prepare myself before the test.

score
Rw mod 1 : 27/27
rw mod 2 : 23/27
math mod 1 : 22/22
math mod 2 : 18/22
Would 1490+ still be possible (hoping for a 1500) with this score distribution?
