Help with new setup

Hello

I am in the process of converting a shed to a home, plan it to eventually power it completely with solar for self sufficiency. Because at the beginning of the process im going to be fully on grid power with a plug in panel to help reduce my electrical usuage. And there are going to be some items like my clothes dryer that will stay on grid. My plan is to have 2 100 amp breaker boxes, 1 which at first is everything but the heavier draw items. so how would everyone wire this system. and i will be getting an electrician involved as the system develops

Wire it to meet local building code requirements.

First question is what state you live in? You will have to pull permits and contact power company to see what they allow. Everything sounds OK.

I live in missouri. Where i live there isnt really any codes enforced. My plan is to wire it to code anyway. but its mainly wiring the main boxes that is where i am stuck on. My thought is to run a second main power wire to where the power house will be. At the beginning having the box that runs all the non 240 items just connected thru a breaker into the other box

also. i was planning on keeping the solar side seperate from the grid side. more like using the hybrid inverter that has both a battery inverter and can use the grid to supplement it

You mentioned plug in solar. you are connected to the grid with. They use microinverters and it takes grid power to turn on a microinverter.

at the moment thats what i have. As i get everything ordered in im going to go off grid with my solar set up.
