Product Support Firmware update and 5g module

I found an old thread on here about DJI doing a firmware upgrade and that causing the 5g modules on the mini 2 se drones to overheat?

Just wondering if DJI have acknowledged this happened?
To cut a long story short, my eldest son bought the drone and stopped using it for many months, he passed it onto his younger brother and after doing the firmware updates, it started dropping connections on dual band. Switching to 2.4g signal each time resolves it. His brother never had this issue before the firmware.
I am wondering if it worth logging it with DJI, it’s out of warranty.

The Mini 2 SE doesn’t have a 5G module.

Based on my experience, yes, it does happen that the transmission module of an old dji gen drone can lose power over time, but somehow in the newest occusync 4, it's rare to happen

Even my friend with Avata 1, lost connection just less than 500 m, and eventually his drone broke cause of that

I think better to get a Neo series, I recommend Neo 2 for more fun playing with
