Question Drone?

Anyone see that drone flying north over Balby around 10am this morning? Low altitude, no sound, short wings and travelling fast

Nope, but a helicopter, presumably an air ambulance has just set down on Town Field.

Is it illegal to fly a drone in Doncaster, or in any particular area?

Ive no idea if its legal or not...Im saying it was a drone as it definately wasnt a plane or a helicopter....it was like a sausage shape with stubby wings each side, flying fast with no sound

Yep. They can be flown anywhere as long as owner is registered with the CAA.
