Help with USB floppy drive working on Windows 98SE ontop of DOSbox-x (also with USB cd rom drive)
I recently got a USB floppy drive for running physical DOS/Windows 98 games on DOSBox-X, works perfectly on basic DOSBox-X, but all i get is "A:\ is not accessible".
I'm still somewhat new to DOS emulation in general; I could go for some help. Sorry for bothering you with a stupid question.
Thank ya'll.

I mean why not just make disk images of the floppies/CDs in your host OS and then mount the disk images in DOSBox?

Yeah, I have decided to go this route, but I'm also considering using 86BOX for Windows98 and DOSBox-X for normal DOS.
The thing is that I don't know how to transfer the files from a diskette (like a copy-protected game) onto a .img file.

I’m on Linux and would just use `dd` (would also work on Mac).
On Windows:

I don't think you can passthrough a USB drive to the booted guest OS like Windows 98. It only works within the emulated DOS environment.
