Good video, thanks. For some reason I thought that relay controlled more than just the kickstand switch, glad to see that it doesn't. My clutch switch is already deleted, will proceed with this one more confidently now.

I honestly never saw a real benefit in this. Deleted the clutch but not this one. It's also fun to turn off the bike by putting it down I have had a couple of instances when it wouldn't turn on and it was simply the kickstand who wasn't fully up but if it ever gets to a big problem I think replacing the springs is better than deleting it altogether. This one is actually life saving imo

I honestly never saw a real benefit in this.

Because once it starts causing issues it can cause your bike to sputter and stall. It can literally cut ignition while you're riding. It's dangerous.

Safety features are great when they're working as they're supposed to. As soon as they start to show issues, as can be the case with a bike that gets dirty and is ridden off-road often, they become a liability.

It's not the springs. The springs are plenty strong. It's that things get gunked up.

To me the very minimal benefit of the kickstand switch is not worth the extra cleaning and maintenance to keep it working properly.
