Any body ever done hard enduro

I attempted hard enduro been riding for 14 years really only a casual cross country/trail rider on much lighter bikes but currently im just rocking my 650 since I dont have a dirt bike at the moment tried hopping the big ole tractor tires and ate the floor. Anyone do hard enduro on it?

Skids and Stuff has some videos of him doing similar things that I’ll never attempt. I’m sure people have i never will.

Depends on the definition of hard enduro. I'd definitely take it farther into the bush than most would but there's always the point where it's time to go around.

Im talking about like big logs tires and rocks like your "average local enduro race" Not the stuff that only Jarvis can do.

If you have enough skill and the bush pig is properly modded im sure you could. Ive beat a couple 2t 200cc dirtbikes up a damn steep rock face on mine. Doesnt happen often but it has happened.

Completed some pretty gnarly sections of moab on the dr650 as well. Barely, and it wasnt easy, but i made it. Dunno if i could or would do it again, especially since i have an enduro bike now for when im feeling masochistic

Iv taken mine places it definitely shouldn't be I use it alot for game trails and I carry a saw and comalong alot and 13/50 gears and 2 4in spall fans on a thermostat switch I call my dr650 my hiking buddy

My guess is the money you spend modding and fixing your DR could purchase a proper dirt bike.

The DR is fairly capable. It also is MUCH heavier than a true dirt bike, and lacks ground clearance. And the suspension is limited. Mine definitely went over logs, rode some stairs, and ran over a few tire obstacles. It's FAR from ideal for it.

I just got back a few hours ago from competing in the Red Bull Tennessee Knockout hard enduro (on the standard issue KTM 300). I'm good enough to finish the course, but suck enough to be WAAAAAY behind and not qualify to move on. I could probably get the DR through the straight rhythm section (slowly) and that's about it. Would need a phenomenal rider to do proper hard enduro on it.

I was up in north utah and did some riding like that on the dr. The rocks were alot sharper and hidden in grass. Was definitely a slow foot down ride.

I’ve single tracked my dr650 but have a 350 for anything enduro. The dr is too much of a pig at 350lbs+ and the suspension is what it is

A DR would be my last choice for hard enduro. I'd sell some stuff and get a bike just for it instead

Have one and done it. Doable but not fun all the time. Carb is upgraded and Suspension work all around, i put my stock seat back on and brace myself for blinker that are going to get busted.
