This is awesome! I really like seeing artists processes.
I have a question if I may! Where do you have uour reference photo? I have tried a few things (having it open on my phone, having a small copy on my screen on procreate) but nothing seems to work for me.

I'm currently using the reference on my phone, so I can zoom in to see details while having the whole tablet screen available for drawing!! But I only started my drawing journey recently so I might not be the best person to give advice either HAHA XD

yeah this also happenend to me before. anyways, this looks great and pretty nice blending, just one thing.. the face is very sharp and the body is smooth. but overall really nice looking art!!!

Why not ban them and make a rule against it? It’s seriously disheartening, and it’s one of the reasons I’ve stopped drawing in here.

In this case, OP was AI which we do ban and it's part of Rule 5: Drawme Request Post Quality Guidelines.
When it comes to OP's deleting their posts in general, that's more tricky.
Been doing this for nearly 2 years and dealing with posters who've messaged us about deleting their posts, the overall majority are due to guys inundating them with creepy DMs. This is a problem sitewide and there's not much we can do except to have Rule 9: Don't DM Posters, tell posters to contact us mods if they get any and instructions on how to turn off DMs as part of the Automod message each post gets. So on top of posters getting freaked out by creepy DMs, we don't really want to ban them on top of that, seen posters get so freaked out they've deleted their whole account.
Another problem is when a poster deletes their post, it's gone and unless you've saved it, made a comment on it or have a link it's incredibly difficult to track. So even if we were to punish posters for deleting, tracking them would be incredibly difficult on top of everything else we do, it's difficult enough just to make sure posters thank artists.
The best solution we have to deleted posts are Art posts like these, that way artists still get to share their work.
We could try and do more for posts we remove (like the post this was for) to notify artists when the post has been mod removed and we can try and look into that. We always leave a comment to posts we've removed and to the reason why at the very least. Been thinking about putting up a weekly thread which might help for deleted posts.
I get it, I'm an artist here and have had posts be deleted I've drawn too and know how frustrating it is when it happens, but when you've dealt with the behind the scenes of it enough, it's not fair to punish someone who's been harassed by creeps.

I think it’s a bit too complex of a problem for such a simple solution. First, that would be incredibly difficult to moderate. Second, I don’t think it’s fair to place the responsibility on users who choose to delete (sometimes their entire account) for whatever reason. Reddit has a well-known pervert problem, and that’s often a reason people choose to delete. Third, I’m not sure why it would matter if they do delete. We allow artists to post, so the art can still get the appreciation it deserves either way.

I definitely agree with you that it’s pretty complex, and it can be a complicated situation all around.
Idk, I realize it may sound ridiculous, but it kinda does matter to some of us. It’s not the first time someone’s posted about this.
But you know, you see a picture, and you go ahead and draw them. Sometimes spending several hours on it, really hoping they’ll love it, and then…poof. They’re gone. So you post it anyway, and if you’re lucky, you get the kind of reception this OP got. Typically though, it doesn’t, and the person you wanted to make it for likely never got to see it. It just sucks, you know?
At the end of the day, I’m just glad OP got some love from the community for their work.

Wow this is incredible. Your progress is absurd! Great decisions on the darkest darks being around the hair and the contrast of the cast shadow and shirt edges. Excited to see what you cook up next.
