Discussion I finally got my base to behave in hot weather
My makeup has been looking so rough in the heat lately. It would look good when I first did it then after being outside for a while my foundation would start separating around my nose and chin and the rest of my base looked cakey at the same time. My blush barely lasted either. I thought using more powder would help but it just made everything look more cakey. By the middle of the day I could see where my foundation and powder were sitting on my skin. I’ve changed a few little things since then like using less powder and finishing with the Milani Make It Last spray and my base has been behaving a lot better. It still gets shiny when I’m outside for hours but to be honest I don’t mind that nearly as much as the cakey, separated look I was getting before. I’m still keeping my makeup pretty light when it’s really hot out, but at least now I can leave the house without wondering what my base is going to look like two hours later.
