Hello everyone! I was hoping to get some info on what’s becoming a bit of a family heirloom. My parents brought this camera with them when we left Poland in 1996 (I was three!).

I remember this working pretty well when I took a very basic photography class in high school back in 2010, but it was tucked away in a cabinet otherwise. When I moved out, I ended up taking it with me. It’s been sitting on a bookshelf with some other curiosities in my study ever since. I figured it was about time I learned a bit more about it, and figured this might be a good place to get more info. I just checked and high school me was smart enough to remove the batteries from the main camera and the flash portion before squirreling it away.

Any info would be appreciated!

I was gifted a beautiful Nikon N4004 with several lenses. I got film today and trying to take my first shot a + - symbol are flashing red . This is preventing me from shooting anything. Any tips to remove or adjust settings?

I stored my DSLR and 6 lenses in a dry cabinet. All is well and beautiful for many years. Until one time my wife unplugged the cab for her hair dryer and she forgot to put it back on. That was 3 months ago. Last night I wanted to prep my camera for a shoot this Saturday and voila - mold everywhere on the camera and lenses. I mean its not so bad that it looks like a spider web, but dots here and there. What can I do now besides than selling everything for 50 bucks on marketplace? Thanks!

I have a Nikon D7200 and suddenly a white spot started appearing in some of my pictures. Some pictures are perfectly fine, some not.

What can I do to fix this? I bought this lens recently from Marketplace and worked very well for months before suddenly this...

I'm having a strange issue with my Canon camera. The first time I pop up the built-in flash after turning it on, it makes rapid shutter/clicking sounds and then displays Err 20. If I turn the camera off and back on while leaving the flash popped up, it works normally and I can take photos with no problem.

Has anyone experienced this before or know what might be causing it?

Hi! I’m planning to use my family’s 13-year-old Canon EOS 700D for my trip to Jeju Island, South Korea next week (summer).
Most of the time I’ll be shooting in Auto mode, but I’d also like to try shooting in Program mode. I’m still new to photography. I understand the exposure triangle, but I’m still learning how to apply it in real-life situations.
For beaches, waterfalls, and gardens, what aperture, shutter speed, and ISO would you typically use in daylight and around sunset? I’ll also be bringing a Black Mist diffusion filter, so I’d appreciate any tips on when it’s best to use it.

i'm looking at 2 camera options on FB marketplace right now, one is nikon D3100 with 2 lenses, a 18-55 and a 55-200 for $150 and a eos 2000d with 18-55 only for $200

i'm leaning towards the nikon because it has a tele lens and is cheaper, but it is older and less megapixels.

i mostly take landscape pics and pics of my wife in nature. I'll be taking it hiking so weight is an issue.

what do you all think, the nikon or the canon? thanks

The picture was taken with Nikon Coolpix L810 with "Flash" as white balance and Vivid, I tried taking a picture with the same settings but in Nikon D7000, I tried different combinations but I dont seem to get it since white balance also asks for the AB and GM, and I tried selecting the closest color yet I dont seem to really match the same one, can anyone help?

I've been trying to figure out what to use as a webcam. I was thinking of buying either an old iphone 13 mini, a link 2C, a Sony a5100 (a mirrorless alternative), and a canon SL2 or T3i.

If I could spend under $500 for a camera, battery, cam link, etc that would be great, but I don't know if that's realistic. I also don't know if I need autofocus or not.

What do you think? Should I stick to an iPhone, go for a Sony, or something else?
