Other Sensors are a must have
Not a question or a complaint. Just an observation and FYI about how inaccurate the actual thermostat is. It generates its own heat (processor, WiFi, display) and can't dissipate it so it could be 3-5 degrees higher than actual temperature.
Ecobee should just include sensors by default with instructions to mount one near the thermostat but not so close to pick up it's heat.
Yes, you can also adjust the temperature offset but that is static so it could still be inaccurate since the heat that Ecobee generates can fluctuate.
