Ethernet not working

I bought a prebuilt and it doesn’t have WiFi and I need to put it an Ethernet which is what I would do anyways. It doesn’t connect but it’s flashing orange and not even connecting to the internet. Pls help I have changed ports and still it doesn’t work

Is the ethernet connect to your router?

Also any useful info about the pc you can provide like mobo details

That is a 6 year old motherboard. You just bought that?

You probably need to install the network drivers from the website.

Use your laptop to get drivers and USB to move them

Where did you buy it from and what is the entire PC model number?

It is from a Greek store called skroutz because I live in Greece and the domain is skroutz.gr Vengeance Stealth-V9 Gaming Desktop PC (Ryzen 5-5500/16GB DDR4/512GB SSD/Radeon RX 9060/No OS)

The no OS part is why you need drivers. It doesnt have any.

Also they cheaped out on the motherboard and put other newer stuff.

Mobo- 2020

CPU- 2022

GPU- 2025

You get a flash drive. download the drivers on laptop. put it on the flash drive and put flash drive into PC

It already has installed the amd drivers just not the motherboards

Yes absolutely I connected my laptop to ethernet since forever and when I got a prebuilt nothing bro by the way my mother board doesn’t have a WiFi card into it

Yes you said it didnt have Wifi. I asked for motherboard info. Can you give the model number of the board or the model of the whole PC.

Yeah it’s probably drivers. You just need to get the installer onto a usb drive from another pc or laptop and run the installer on the device. Other option is using an Ethernet adapter to install them if you have one.

ipconfig /all and post results.
