Does anyone else find it annoying that there's no single site to compare ALL ground transport options (bus, train) when you don't care where you end up — just want the cheapest/fastest way out of your city?

Skyscanner has this for flights ("anywhere" search) but I haven't found anything like it for bus/train in Europe. Rome2Rio comes close but you have to click city by city on a map instead of just seeing "here are your 10 cheapest options from Milan this weekend."

Is this something you'd actually use, or do you have a workaround/tool you already use for this? Trying to figure out if it's worth building.

Hey everyone, I’d like some help. planning my trip in the end of september, beginning of octuber.

Here’s how I planned my trip: arriving on september 19, 2 days in Ljubljana, then on to Zagreb 22-29; rent a car and head down to Zadar 25-27, then Split 27-30, then Dubrovnik 09/30 until 10/04, after that, take a bus to Mostar for 2 days and finish up in Sarajevo for 3 days. I feel like that’s a lot of time in Croatia—I don't know, I’m not really into places that are overly touristy; I prefer quiet spots where I can relax. Could I skip any of the Croatian cities? tks!!

zone (those camera-enforced restricted zones in city centres, ~€80–90 a pop).

Figuring out "what do I actually need for THIS route" meant digging through a

dozen different national websites.

What's actually working today:

• Live station-level prices for Germany, France, Spain, and Italy (pulled from each country's official open-data feed)

Hello everyone! My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) is taking a train trip through Europe this summer, and I'm having trouble figuring out if there's some sort of omni-pass or discount card that I should be getting, along with our train tickets.

For reference, we're traveling between Milan, Italy; Innsbruck, Austria; Munich, Germany; Prague, Czechia; and Basel, Switzerland. The trip includes the a night train between Munich and Prague; the Bernina Express; and then lots of regional rail in-between.

I'm clear on the ticket purchases, but I don't know if there's some sort of discount card or pass we should be using for this trip to get better prices. We'll only be in Europe for 2 weeks. Is there anything that's worth getting for these train trips?
