According to Tuoi Tre's source, Toc Tien will be the representative of Vietnam to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026, an international music contest scheduled to take place in Thailand in November.

This is the Asian version of the Eurovision Song Contest, a music playground with a 70-year history. Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 will be broadcast in coordination with Channel 3 (Thailand) and TV stations from many countries in the region.

In Vietnam, the program has the participation of VTV3 in broadcasting.

This year's season brings together representatives of 9 countries including Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Bhutan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Nepal, Laos and Bangladesh.

Since making her mark through The Remix in 2015, Toc Tien has gradually become an all-around artist of V-pop. She owns a series of hit songs such as Someone loves you like me, Tears of me wipe with new love, 906090...

The beauty also made her mark through many TV shows and art projects. A recent highlight is Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind 2024, where Toc Tien burst into tears and admitted that she lost her "career fire" after about 2 years of feeling confused and slowed down.

Throughout the journey of "riding the wind and turning the waves", she showed her stage staging thinking, sharp choreography, confident demeanor and powerful voice, constantly changing her style.

With performance experience and modern musical colors, Toc Tien is expected to bring an energetic performance when representing Vietnam at Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026.

Happy new Eurovision year everyone! 🎉

We’ve been working over the past year on something special to satisfy our nerdy Eurovision heart, and we felt it's time to share it with the rest of the fan community!

The Eurovision Atlas is an interactive graph engine of the full history of the Eurovision Song Contest - 1842 songs with over 12,000 people who worked behind them, united by music... and now also by a map :)

It's a visual platform for you to explore the credits of any Eurovision song, and then continue discovering what other songs its artists, songwriters and others were credited on... and then who were credited on these songs, and so on... Until you’re all soaked up in ESC fever!

We also took it one step further and added:

  • A search engine to find the shortest Eurovision connection between any two songs or people (ahem Francesca Michielin - there's always some degree of separation!)
  • Gallery of stories we curated for the most interesting patterns we could find (e.g. Who's the most prolific songwriter? And which two lead artists were also backing vocalists for each other?)

Go ahead and start exploring now on europarty.app/atlas (works best on desktop, but available also on mobile - still in beta). We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! 💜

P.S

Curious to see what interesting connections you can find - you can use the share button at the bottom to "Share this view" and get a direct link for your graph. The amount of new facts we learned about some of our favourite songs or artists was genuinely exciting!

Perhaps a bit off-topic, so please remove my post if so.

I went back and watched some interviews with the band and they sometimes mention a Discord server. Could someone please send me an invite link? 🥺 I'm curious what the community is like.

💬 Discussion Eurovision costumes ideas

Post image
48 Upvotes

My boyfriend needs a costume for Eurovision karaoke+photoshoot at a con this weekend. Do any of these random jackets from goodwill remind you of any particular Eurovision acts? We can do some basic accessorizing to make a look but neither of us is very crafty and we're running out of time/costuming budget. There's not really a counterpart to what I'm wearing, so any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Edit: bah, excuse the typo in the title

📊 Results / Statistics Top 10 largest majorities in Eurovisionworld national final polls and every majority for a song that did not win.

This is based off of what percentage of votes each country got e.g. if there were 50,000 votes total and one song got 30,000 votes then that song would have a share of 60%

💬 Discussion Anything to watch out for while checking out the 2012-15 contests?

I've never really paid much attention to pre-2016 Eurovision, so I figured I'd fix that by binging the 2012-15 contests on YouTube.

Anyone have any suggestions about fun stuff to keep an eye out for while watching those years for the first time? As in things that were different about that ESC era or that stood out as particularly funny, cool, or quirky about each year?

💬 Discussion how to find full rank break down of Eurovision 2026 including semi finals

I know how to find the actual points but I wanna see all of the 11th - 15th places from each jury and Televote as I wanna see if the results change based on ranking as opposed to points, like the 2013 voting system. Can anyone help? would be much appreciated

📊 Results / Statistics Eurovision 2026 voting, but if full complete 1-12 points voting system (with 9 and 11 points)

For fun, I wanted to imagine what this year's Eurovision final standings would look like if, in addition to points 1-8, 10, and 12, it also included the missing points 9 and 11. Points would then be awarded to all countries ranked 1-12 in the jury or televoting rankings.

First semi-final: no changes in terms of the finalists.

Detailed jury voting
Detailed televoting ("rest of the world" not displayed here)
Full detailed voting (with rest of the world)

Second semi-final: Instead of Cyprus, Switzerland advances to the final (there is no curse about it getting through both the separate jury and televoting, but not the overall ranking).

Full detailed voting (with rest of the world)

Since Switzerland would ultimately advance to the final, I wondered how the jury and televoting would have rated it in the final. Here, I had to enlist the help of AI to analyze the overall voting statistics at this year's Eurovision. The evaluation of just the countries that voted in the second semi-final wasn't enough, as it's unclear how the jury and viewers would have actually voted in the final if those missing +9 and +11 points had been used in the voting system this year. Therefore, the final final top result is subjective, but entirely possible at the competition itself. For 11th and 12th place (sometimes 13th place was also used), data was taken from the official Eurovision website, which details the full jury/televoting rankings for each country.

💬 Discussion Tie breaking to calculate jury points in Eurovision 2013-2017

I know that in years 2013-2017 method used for calculating jury results for a country was basically sum of places from every juror top 25/26/27 and country with lowest sum got 12 points etc. But what if two (or more) countries got the same sum of places? What was the tie breaking method? Naturally, country with single higher place in one juror’s top would’ve won the tie (for example two countries got sum of 35, but for one country it would be 10+10+5 and for another 11+10+4, so country with 4 place as the highest jury rank would win). But recently I looked up detailed results 2016 contest on eurovision.tv and for example I checked UK jury votes:
Croatia got 10th place and Belgium 11th. They both had sum of 54.
Here are places of Croatia:
Juror A 5th
Juror B 21st
Juror C 10th
Juror D 6th
Juror E 12th

Here are places of Belgium:
Juror A 10
Juror B 14
Juror C 20
Juror D 7
Juror E 3

The highet rank for Belgium was 3rd and for Croatia 5th yet Croatia won this tie and I don’t know why. That’s just one of many examples of weirdly broken tie. There was also Sweden 11th and Ukraine 12th in Albanian jury voting.

Can someone explain it to me? I would be very grateful.
