Out of office auto reply issue internal only

OOF not working internally but working externally, have hybrid setup but mailbox on cloud only. Wondering if someone can help.

No oof msg template corruption, already checked.

Recheck the OOF configuration it should set for both type of users inetrnal and external

First thing I'd check is whether it only fails for messages that hit a transport rule, journaling rule, or a connector path. In hybrid, "internal" sometimes ends up classified weirdly and Exchange Online just won't send the OOF back the way you expect.

Check your default remote domain. Does it allow auto-response? Look at the docs for the get-remotedomain cmdlet.
