Question About ups... my computer specs are below

Cpu-5600g

Ram- 16g 2666mhz * 2

Graphic - rx580

So... my base factory is under 40~45 ups now.

If I bought 5500x3d, can I maintain over 60 ups for a while? I've heard the L3 cache is important on this game.

Can you share the save? Something seems off. The 5600g should rip through most even megabases

Do you have an actual megabase that would be the reason for the slowdown? If not, post your time usage screen. Maybe someone can spot the problem.

I actually don't think this is a bottleneck, cpu. Make sure you're system is using your discrete gpu, if it is, then know, that's likely your problem

Doesn't 580 have like 8gb? Ive never seen any modpack make 8gb vram be a problem.

Yea, but 1) despite 8gb, it's an old processor, and 2) doesn't matter if they're running on integrated graphics on that 5600g

Could you show the debug listing where time is spent? Most likely would your setup be improved with an x3d no matter what. But at the orf chance it's just bad mods or graphics problem (improbable imho).

Im going to go out on a limb and say your ram is the issue here. You can usually boost 2666mhz sticks up to 3000mhz unless they're bottom of the barrel sticks. Might be further ahead getting 32gb of 3600mhz ram with preferably lower than a cl18 latency. Also need to make sure your motherboard is capable of that speed before pulling the trigger.
