Help Keep triggering dash while rev guarding.

It happened many times that I triggered a backdash and get hit while rev guarding cross ups because I instinctively added a back input as the direction changed.

There is no configuration to change that behaviour right?

The solution is cleaning up your inputs, sorry to say. They deliberately want you to commit to Rev Guard.

There are short cuts for Back dash and forward dash with rev (Tab Rev Guard while blocking and rev + Forward respectively, there is also rev+jump for hops)

Sadly no option to just turn this off like Fighterz did, so is up to basic skill of mentally knowing that when you are commiting to rev guard you are just rev guarding.

Yeah. I'm a bit surprised they felt the need to add shortcuts to forward and backward dashes. I get it if they add it to hops because it is harder to execute.

Oh well. I will train myself and get better.

You would be surprised, I have a friend that for the life of his he can't dash to his left side even if is just double tab, so he uses this shortcut a lot, the game really aimed to add a way to do the entry level shenanigans (Hops, quick dash, combo with the ex chains) and leave all the complexity on prediction and defense mechanics

Forward dash button is useful for wave dash and micro dash before a special or super, and back dash button can beat throws.
